I just came across this article which discusses harmful effects of bisphenol A, or BPA as it is more commonly referred to. This chemical is used in the production of many plastics such as bottles and in the lining of cans and, and it seems that it can leach into the food and drink that is stored in them. The result is a potential health hazard as this chemical is what's known as a "hormone mimicking" chemical. This means is can upset the hormonal balance which is so critical when one is trying to get pregnant. There are some things you can do to avoid ingesting this chemical. To read more, Click Here.
