In the midst of all your holiday shopping, maybe you can review the list and pick out something that can help you to achieve your dream…it will be your much deserved GIFT to yourself!

This Will Make Your Holiday Shopping Fast and Easy (I LOVE this)

I remember when I was trying so desperately to become pregnant, the last thing I wanted to do was put on a happy face and see the happy crowds (often with babies or children) at the mall all doing their holiday shopping. Being able to avoid this and get your shopping done from the comfort of your own home can be a lifesaver.   And that lifesaver can be found this holiday season with a FREE TRIAL of Amazon Prime!

If you never heard of it or are not yet a member of Amazon Prime, you are missing out on a spectacular service, but the BEST part is you can sign up right now for a FREE, NO STRINGS ATTACHED 30 day Trial and get all your holiday shopping done for FREE 2 day delivery!  I know it sounds too good to be true,  so read on... I wish it had been available when I was dealing with my fertility struggle.

I discovered Amazon Prime about this time last year when a friend recommended it to me. Here are the basics. Amazon Prime charges an annual fee (you pay nothing for the trial) and you get the following benefits….FREE 2-day shipping on all "prime" eligible items (most are), FREE video streaming of movies and TV shows, and a FREE Kindle ebook to read once a month.

When I discovered that it cost $79 to pay for the membership I initially thought it was too expensive and not worth it since you can usually get free shipping if you purchase over $25 worth of stuff all at once.

But here's what happened…
My son was invited to a friend's birthday party and I forgot to purchase him a gift. The party was 2 days away and it was a cold, rainy day outside and I really did NOT want to make a trip to Walmart or the toy store to get one. I knew there was not enough time to purchase something on Amazon using the free shipping method and I did not plan to spend over $25 anyway. The 2-day shipping costs were ridiculously high.

I was wishing I had an Amazon Prime membership but still wasn't sure if it would be worth it for me.

And then I discovered I could SIGN UP FOR A FREE TRIAL PRIME MEMBERSHIP FOR 30 DAYS and easily cancel after!!!

I decided this was great, since I could get the birthday gift in time, and try out the membership for a month to see if it was really worth it.

OH MY GOODNESS, THE TIMING COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER!

Because the Christmas Holidays were approaching, I had a lot of shopping to do. I always liked purchasing on Amazon because it saved me time from going out…saved me gas driving to stores…and best of all I could do it in my pajamas at night from the comfort of my couch!! While I always thought Amazon offered great prices which were often cheaper even than Walmart, I hated paying shipping costs, or having to bundle a bunch of items in order to qualify for the free shipping. (must spend at least $25).

So after I purchased the birthday present I needed, I spent the next 30 days ordering everything I needed on Amazon instead of driving to a store. At first it was a little hard getting used to purchasing small items I never would have ordered before (due to high shipping costs). But then, I got used to it and it was FANTASTIC.

For example, I purchased a pack of underwear for my son…a dog collar for my new puppy…a bag of dog food that was too heavy to carry from a store…a package of pens for my daughter…hair clips…hair care products…and the list goes on and on. Some of these items cost less than $5.00 and the shipping would have been higher than the cost of the item if it weren't for Amazon Prime. The prices were just as good if not better than if I went to a store, and I got delivery in 2 days (sometimes overnight!). I couldn't have been happier.

I then ordered 95% of my Christmas gifts just using the FREE TRIAL MEMBERSHIP and I saved a TON OF MONEY. I also avoided the crowds…was able to read reviews to see which items were popular, and finished all my shopping ahead of time!

When my 30 day trial finished, I did not even hesitate to purchase the annual program. And I will continue to renew it every year as it ends up saving me a lot of time and money…I cannot recommend it more highly.

I wanted to let you know that you can sign up for a 30 day trial right now if you don't have it yet, and you can use it for yourself AND purchase any/all of your holiday gifts in the next month. You can cancel it after 30 days (it is very easy to do this) or you can decide to keep it if you love it as much as I do.

Either way, there is no reason not to sign up and give it a try for 30 days since it is FREE TO DO SO!

I Love This!

One of the best online community's that I found with a fabulous group of ladies from all over the world who love to help each other is "Cafe Mom".  The site is made up of a combination of women who are trying to get pregnant, already pregnant plus those who recently had their baby.

If you are struggling to conceive, the ability to share your thought and feelings with others going through the same thing can be a tremendous comfort.  Most women who struggle with fertility issues do not feel comfortable talking about it to friends and family and yet it can be very stressful going through this and keeping all your feelings inside.

The support of the women in this community is tremendous and it can greatly contribute to relieving some of the stress you may be going through.  And since research shows that stress can reduce fertility, this means that joining this site can actually help you to get pregnant!

There is no fee to join, so go sign up right now!  I PROMISE you will be so happy you did!

Are Join CafeMom Today!

After you sign up, simply search for a group that might be of interest to you.  Last I checked, there were over 10 different groups for women trying to get pregnant including those specifically for women over 30 or over 40, women with PCOS, women who had a miscarriage, women with endometriosis, women trying for a boy or girl, and MANY others.

Go now to sign up and after a few days, let me know how much you like it ; - )

Fertility Awareness Survey Says...

I just came across an article that speaks about how misinformed women are when it comes to fertility. Of course, this doesn't surprise me too much as I have found this to be true in my own research. It is why my mantra that goes out to my newsletter subscribers is "KNOWLEDGE IS POWER" and what led me to write my ebook, Personal Path to Pregnancy. According to this article, the results of a recent fertility awareness survey reveal that most women think it’s much easier to get pregnant than it really is. Here's a quote from the article:

For the study, presented at the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, 1,000 women ages 25 to 35 were asked 10 questions about fertility, and most of them flunked the test, according to MSNBC. Infertility is a huge problem in our country, and 7.3 million women in the U.S. struggle with it. This figure represents 12 percent of women of childbearing age, or 1 in 8 couples, according to the National Infertility Association RESOLVE. You can’t help but wonder if these statistics would improve if women had more accurate information about their fertility and opted to get pregnant sooner rather than later.

Ripley's Famous Fertility Statues on Tour in 2010

It may not be very scientific, but after a three-year world tour  in  the late 90s, Ripley's Believe it or Not received more than 2,000 letters from women who had become pregnant shortly after touching the statues – even though many had been told by doctors they would never conceive.

They will be touring again at various Ripleys Believe it or Not! museum locations around the United States including Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Oregon, Texas, and a few other locations.  There is no charge to touch the statues, so if you are near any of these locations, you may want to make plans to stop by when the statues are on display -- it sure can't hurt!!  You can read more and get the schedule HERE.

Are You Eating and Drinking Toxic Chemicals?

It seems the more I research into the causes of infertility, the more I am convinced that the food we eat and the environmental toxins we are exposed to are a major contributing cause to the increase in fertility problems around the globe (as well as other health problems). I just came across this article which discusses harmful effects of bisphenol A, or BPA as it is more commonly referred to. This chemical is used in the production of many plastics such as bottles and in the lining of cans and, and it seems that it can leach into the food and drink that is stored in them. The result is a potential health hazard as this chemical is what's known as a "hormone mimicking" chemical. This means is can upset the hormonal balance which is so critical when one is trying to get pregnant. There are some things you can do to avoid ingesting this chemical. To read more, Click Here.
