It may not be very scientific, but after a three-year world tour in the late 90s, Ripley's Believe it or Not received more than 2,000 letters from women who had become pregnant shortly after touching the statues – even though many had been told by doctors they would never conceive.
They will be touring again at various Ripleys Believe it or Not! museum locations around the United States including Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Oregon, Texas, and a few other locations. There is no charge to touch the statues, so if you are near any of these locations, you may want to make plans to stop by when the statues are on display -- it sure can't hurt!!
